It came all very very spontaneous to me and I needed a night to think about it but at the end I thought: “Why not? I’ll go for it! ..”
Next Saturday you’ll see my art in a local gallery here in Toronto. The Sleeping Giant Gallery is hosting a group photography exhibition and it seems my work would fit well into it. Hearing that makes me even more excited to see the other photographers work!
I’ll show seven pieces of Lisa’s Birthday and one random shot that shall complete the work as a whole. The Sleeping Giant Gallery is also regularly showing art from Lisa, the birthday kid who also was the one who brought this art show to my attention.
The gallery is located at 789 Dundas Street West, on the south side of the street. Opening night is next Saturday, July the 18th from 8pm to 2am. The show will continue until July the 25th.
Hope some (and a few) of you have time to look at it. For me it’s a great opportunity to get serious feedback about the series that took me all this work. Let’s see how mingling with the crowd and meeting new people works for me these days.
Have a good week you all, mine will be busy as hell. I’m so glad! Something to do!
Rock ‘n’ Roll!
Marco
